Natural Stretch Mark &
Scar Repair (MCA)
Revitalize Skin, Renew Confidence!
This breakthrough procedure uses organic oils, vitamins, and peptides to boost cellular turnover of collagen, elastin, and fibroblast cells. This technique has been rising in popularity due to its effectiveness in naturally repairing scar tissues, and improving the texture and appearance of all stretch mark types (pink, purple, and white) with minimal downtime. Many have noticed a significant difference in their scars and stretch marks in just one session. After treatment, a 1500W Red Infrared LED therapy light will be used for best results.
Step 1: MCA Scar & Stretch Mark Treatment (Multi-trepannic Collagen Actuation) is also known as the Inkless technique or dry needling.
MCA Scar Treatment/dry needling is carried out with the use of a specialized medical tattooing machine, using a dry needle technique (no pigment/colour used). The treatment consists of a needle that enters the surface layers of the skin, just enough to cause a minor trauma and stimulate blood flow to the area. The process causes minute punctures, which create channels that trigger the body to produce collagen, melanin and elastin in order to fill the wounds – therefore promoting further healing. While this isn’t a scar or stretch mark removal treatment (no such thing exists unfortunately), it can improve the look, feel, firmness and appearance of scars & Stretch Marks considerably.
So what happens after an MCA Treatment?
New tissue grows into the damaged skin and collagen, elastin, and melanin production is stimulated as part of this new healing process. - Loose and sunken stretch marks fill out and appear smoother and firmer. - Discolored scars start to normalize and skin tone/colour evens out. - Scars that are raised and bumpy flatten out and become less visible - Tight scars relax and become less restricted. - Areas of scar numbness begin to have returned feeling. - This treatment is fantastic for anyone who would like to improve the appearance and feel of scars, burns, and stretch marks. While the exact results are not guaranteed, most patients will notice a marked improvement after just one treatment. Typically a course of treatment is 3-4 treatments to be carried out 4-6 weeks apart.
Infrared LED Therapy
After each treatment we use Red Light Therapy (RLT) which is a treatment that may help skin, muscle tissue, and other parts of your body heal. It exposes you to low levels of red or near-infrared light. Infrared light is a type of energy your eyes can’t see, but your body can feel as heat. Red light is similar to infrared, but you can see it. Red light therapy is also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT), low-power laser therapy (LPLT), and photobiomodulation (PBM). Red light therapy uses very low levels of heat and doesn’t hurt or burn the skin. It’s not the same type of light used in tanning booths, and it doesn’t expose your skin to damaging UV rays. LED light acts on cells in the skin known as fibroblasts, which play a role in production of collagen, a protein that makes up a large part of connective tissue and helps the skin to recover when it's harmed.
